Music is an old medium of expression and it has played an important part in the social and cultural life of people since a time unknown. Various stringed musical instruments and seven-holed flutes have been found at the Indus Valley Civilization excavation sites. The various forms of music are classical, instrumental, rock, jazz, pop, country, and blues. In addition, there are many variations of each style being combined routinely to produce new sounds.
