Film movies are movies which were recorded on film strips. Unlike more modern day movie formats, such as DVD’s or VHS, film movies are a string of still frames captured using a real style camera. The design limits film movies to only displaying video. To offer sound the audio portion of the movie is recorded on a separate medium. The movie itself is rolled on a real and played through a film projector.
Film movies are rarely used any more but they are often sought after by collectors for nostalgic reasons. Some prefer them for the fact that they represent an original copy of the movie and they play the way they were originally made to be played. Many film movies have also been converted to modern day mediums.
Many movies which were made prior to 1975 can be found in film. You can find many film movies locally in Los Angeles.
