Hyundai is the only Korean and not a Japanese company to be part of the Big Four group of Asian auto makers. The other three international brands are Honda, Toyota and Nissan. Its products are among the most sold in the world. In terms of number of cars sold annually, it ranks fifth in the world. Amongst its internationally popular models are Elantra, Genesis, Accent and i-10.
It has been in the US market since 1986, and has made significant investments in the country. It scores high in the quality department and is borne out by its ranking third in the JD Powers Associates’ ranking, beating Toyota to the fourth place.
Hyundai continues to please the market with its range of nifty and fuel efficient cars, which are very well regarded in terms of performance. Their cars are easily available and well served in and around the Los Angeles area.
